BYOBBQ
action bronson performed an exclusive show out in bushwick/williamsburg yesterday and tore that shit down. me and my boy got there mad late and missed most of actions set but the party itself was ill. free bbq, free tequila, byob, and the most intense game of dodgeball i have ever witnessed. the rest of the night was spent bouncing around brooklyn and l.e.s. rooftops getting fuckin slammed. good times, good times.

the nyc subway rules pretty hard sometimes
ive gotten pretty lively on the train before im not gonna lie, but getting naked and dropping n bombs at full volume is well over the top. i cant believe how long that transit cop let that go on for. if he wasnt white i have a feeling he wouldve gotten taken out in a second. just saying.

UNDERCITY from Andrew Wonder on Vimeo.
this is definitly one of the most interesting things ive watched in while. i mean ive done my fair share of exploring nj and ny looking for graffiti spots or to find some uncharted territory, but never on a level like these guys did.

king of hearts
around this time last year, hip hop lost an iconic member of its community, Tero "Camu Tao" Smith. Camu died at the age of 30 after a battle with lung cancer. in honor of his death, def jux is releasing an lp camu was working on before he passed entitled the king of hearts lp. i was lucky enough to see camu perform on a trip my buddies and i took up to toronto a few years back. it was one of the dopest shows i can recall and the entire trip was an insanely memorable experience. the lp is going to be released august 17th. for a taste of the lp check it here.
the nighthawks cd is one of the hardest albums ive ever heard. the whole album is set on the perspective of two corrupt nyc cops and its just so fuckin raw. bump this shit in your whip at night when theres no cars on the streets and just cruise. its unreal

cerebral ballzy
these guys are fucking doing it right now, just look how rad this video is. the song rips, theres skating, drinking and illegal shit. some of my favorite things in life. these guys have been getting some recognition lately and have been described as the next bad brains or "bad brains on crystal meth". theyve got this sick 80s vibe especially with their crusty recordings. fuckin crank this and ride your board to the liquor store and snag some 40s, ill meet you there.

BANKSY DOCUMENTARY premiers tonight in NYC
definitly gonna try and check this over the weekend. ive always been so impressed by banksy. his anonymity, political statements, skills, plus the dude has got some serious balls on him. hopefully he threw up a piece in the city considering all the hype around the film.

he just put this up in LA and the owner of the building already took it down and threw it up on ebay yesterday for $5000.

lego my megalomania

this exhibit called "brick by brick" opened up today
all the art is done by this dude nathan sawaya
and the sculptures are made up entirely of legos

jonathan levine gallery
i went into chelsea the other day to check out this street art exhibit. the building wound up being like 12 stories just full of galleries. ran into some wild stuff there.(click on the pictures to see the bigger image)

holland tunnel

weirdest thing of the day. one of the first things we saw after we parked the car

rubiks cubes

jonathan levine gallery. peep the shepard fairey piece in the back. i really liked all the pieces there but the shepard fairey one was especially rad

skate or die

i can only say dont touch anything so many times

this was real sick. there was a camera or sensor in the middle and the shingles would move accordingly. pretty crazy

reminiscing
in high school, this was the kid in town everyone wanted to be as good as
this video got premiered at the movie theater in the town over from me
along with a video my buddy made and it was such a rad time
this really brings me back to when all i cared about was skating
and finding somewhere to steal booze from
i hope you find this as enjoyable as i do
