around this time last year, hip hop lost an iconic member of its community, Tero "Camu Tao" Smith. Camu died at the age of 30 after a battle with lung cancer. in honor of his death, def jux is releasing an lp camu was working on before he passed entitled the king of hearts lp. i was lucky enough to see camu perform on a trip my buddies and i took up to toronto a few years back. it was one of the dopest shows i can recall and the entire trip was an insanely memorable experience. the lp is going to be released august 17th. for a taste of the lp check it here.
the nighthawks cd is one of the hardest albums ive ever heard. the whole album is set on the perspective of two corrupt nyc cops and its just so fuckin raw. bump this shit in your whip at night when theres no cars on the streets and just cruise. its unreal rip
