still one of the saddest things ive ever seen
i think i posted this video last year and i dont think ive watched it since. its easily one of the most heartfelt performances that ive ever been able to witness, but its just so hard to watch. unfortunatly, my generation has a negative perception of michael jackson because of all the controveries he was surrounded with while we were growing up. luckily, i was fortunate enough to have parents who appreciated what he had acheived during his musical career and the profound statement he has made on music in general. i think everyone is old enough now to put all the accusations aside and purely focus on how amazing his music is. to the greatest performer of all time, nobody will top your achievements. j5 joints still get pumped steadily. rip.

rest in peace ryan dunn
this is a huge bummer to me because i still remember the first time i saw cky2k and the impact it had on my life which was mostly negative, but i wouldnt take it back for anything. me and my buddies would ride our bikes to the skate shop every week or so to pick up the newest skate videos to check out. the day we picked this video out of the display case would change our lives forever. we thought it was just a regular skate video until this scene came on and realized we had no idea what we were about to get ourselves into for the next hour or so. needless to say we watched the video repeatedly for weeks and were amazed and inspired by it. the next few years of middle school were filled with us trying to emulate stunts in the video, devising ellaborate pranks, getting hurt, skating, and making everyone else in school hate us. cky2k single handedly made my middle school and beginning of high school years significantly better. these guys were way more of celebrities to me growing up than say like leonardo dicaprio(i feel like he was in a ton of movies when i was in middle school) or someone along those lines. ryan dunn was hands down one of the funniest guys out there and will certainly be missed. thanks for all the laughs.
