i went down to atlantic city last weekend to check out my cousin's friend fight but i had no idea that it was opening up for the sergio martinez vs darren barker hbo fight. so we got there just in time to check out my cousins friend beat on some kid. the fight ended mad early and our seats were pretty sick so we decided to stick around for a little longer and i couldnt be more happy that we did. two fights later "what these bitches want from a nigga" by dmx starts coming through the system and a 304 lb giant walks out. we didnt even realize he was fighting until his shirt came off. the fight lasted about a minute but for that minute i was hysterical with tears rolling down my face. watching this on video does not do it justice when you have a couple thousand drunk people all screaming and laughing at this fine piece of athleticism. and this was only the beginning of the night.

vancouver is on fire

for me, the hockey season is over once the rangers are eliminated but once i hear talk of possible rioting im right back in the spirit of things. as much as i dont like rooting for boston teams, i cant say no to seeing some riot footage. canada is famous for destroying their own cities after championship games. whether they win or lose, a car or two will probably get flipped over and set on fire and a few stores are bound to be looted. here are some of the best photos ive found of the riot last night after the canucks lost in game 7.
