i had this car for about 10 days, it had only about 100 miles on it. it didnt even have license plates on it yet and some lady tries cutting a blind left and i t boned her going 30-35. there was an suv to my left making a left and i couldnt see her til the last second and i didnt even have time to step on the brake. she had two little kids in the back seat probably 2 to 3 years old and it just blows my mind how reckless that shit was. all things considered its pretty good i hit the front of her car. even though it was 100% her fault, i dont know what id do if those little kids got hurt real bad or something. shes also lucky she was a lady because i never got out of a car so fast ready to fucking kill someone. i blacked out for a second i was so pissed. if it was a guy driving that car i probably wouldve wound up getting arrested. now im waiting to find out if its totaled.
when the airbag went off it hit my arm first and fucked up my wrist and elbow pretty good. i dont know if you can see in the picture but my wrist is all wrapped up and ive got a splint on it. it didnt hurt initially because of the adrenalin i guess, but later on it started to hurt pretty bad so i figured id get to the hospital make sure nothing was broken. they gave me 2 percocets to hold me over and i sat there for a few hours and watched seinfeld and wound up getting a full bottle. they are really helping with the sharp pains and soreness and helping me forget how bummed i am.
the airbag also smashed my weathermen shades which im pretty upset about
so real right now. i really think that if i was in my old car things wouldve been way worse. i only had the car for a little over a week, but i loved that thing.
